Why You Should Watch/Follow CLANNAD
There is a popular saying in the anime community: “CLANNAD is life.” While the first season offers a charming, albeit traditional, high school harem-romance setup, it serves as crucial groundwork for “CLANNAD: After Story.” The second season accomplishes something rarely seen in anime by following its characters well into adulthood, tackling themes of employment, parenthood, and devastating grief with incredible maturity. Accompanied by Jun Maeda’s hauntingly beautiful soundtrack and Kyoto Animation’s stellar production, it is a profoundly transformative experience that will leave a lasting impact on your heart.
