Synopsis & Plot Summary
Jinta “Jintan” Yadomi has become a recluse, spending his days away from school and society. His life takes a surreal turn one summer day when he is approached by the ghost of his childhood friend, Meiko “Menma” Honma. Menma died in a tragic accident years ago, an event that caused their close-knit group of friends—the “Super Peace Busters”—to drift apart. Menma appears to Jinta looking older, claiming she has a wish that needs to be granted before she can move on to the afterlife. However, she cannot remember what that wish is.
