Why You Should Follow Tokyo Ghoul in 2026
Whether you are a veteran fan or a newcomer, the current “renaissance” of Tokyo Ghoul is something to watch. While the original anime was criticized for skipping manga content, the 10th-anniversary projects suggest that Shueisha and Studio Pierrot (or potentially a new studio) are listening to fan feedback. Now is the perfect time to catch up on the manga and the original 2014 series before the next era of Kaneki’s story begins.
